The Outside by Laura Bickle

A very believable story about a vampire plague told through the eyes of Katie, an Amish girl living in a strict religious community. This book (and it's first volume, the Hallowed Ones) were quite scary, these aren't handsome, glittery, and brooding vampires. I thought the storytelling was perfect. I recommend this set of books to anyone who likes a good creepy, things that go bump in the night, scary book and I look forward to reading more by Laura Bickle and her alternate personality Alayna Williams.
