I, Zombie by Spalding, Nick

This was a short story about a man who wakes up as a zombie, in his hometown which is now filled with zombies, and goes home to find his zombified girlfriend. Unlike the other zombies, this guy retains enough of his mental compacity to write his experience down. I liked the story and would be happy to read a more fleshed out version of this the writer chose to write one (he may have, I haven't yet looked at his other books.)
