Went to a motorcycle store today on the other side of town. Patrick recently got his motorcycle endorsement on his license and we want to get him a bike to save gas on his daily work commute. We found a small bike that isn't overly powerful and we are waiting for a phone call to see if financing went through. They didn't have all the documents they needed so we won't find out till tomorrow.
Since we were on that side of town we went to Hobby Lobby and it was my very first time there. What a cool store! It didn't have as much yarn as I was hoping, but it we enjoyed looking at the regular hobby stuff like the track cars and rockets. Connor has already asked when we'll go back. I bought a set of knitting needles and a stitch holder. The kids bought a coloring book, an activity book and a chalkboard pointer. Oh, and Hobby Lobby did have one of these.
We had a birthday party at 1:00 p.m. but because of the first two activities we didn't get there till 2 p.m. The kids got to swim and jump in one of those really big jumpers. The party was for my 3 year old cousin we call Bubba, and if I wasn't too lazy to get off my butt and get the pictures I took you could see why he's called that.
Lastly we went to a pawn shop. I love pawn shopping, I got both Katie's and my DSi at the pawn shop for $10 less than I would got a new one for. I also got a Nintendo Game Cube with a Game Boy advance console attachment for $25. Today's pawn find was a bread maker for $7 (a friend of mine wanted me to be on the lookout for one) and a microwave for $17 (going to take to work.)
The kids are all tuckered now. Katie's asleep on the couch, and Connor's reading Diary of Wimpy Kid, but he not much longer for awakeland. I don't know why they are so tired, it's not like we did much today.
